Designing a home to this level means coordinating an architect, structural engineer, electrical engineer, lighting designer, plumbing engineer, ventilation engineer, cooling specialist, acoustic consultant, pool engineer, and security designer — each producing their own drawings, calculations, and specifications. Aligning them, resolving conflicts, and carrying the architectural intent through every stage of construction takes years, costs a fortune, and requires experience most people simply do not have. Add to that the thousands of decisions about materials, finishes, and layouts — each one a chance to delay the project and increase the cost.
